Dear Parents and Carers of Year 7 and Year 8 students,

I hope the year has begun positively for your sons and that they are settling well into life at Salesian College and developing a strong sense of belonging within our Salesian faith community.

At Salesian College, our Catholic identity and the charism of St John Bosco are at the heart of all that we do. In the Salesian tradition, we gather regularly in prayer and Eucharistic celebration to nurture faith, strengthen relationships, and walk together as a community grounded in reason, religion, and loving kindness. As part of this commitment, each year level is invited to attend a morning Mass each term, alongside other liturgical and faith experiences throughout the year.

This year marks an important milestone for our College community as our Year 7 and Year 8 students continue their learning at our dedicated Year 7 and Year 8 Learning Precinct - Mannix Campus. Since moving to the campus in Term 2, the boys have had time to settle into their new environment and make it their home.

As we celebrate our first Community Masses at the Mannix Campus, we warmly invite parents and carers to join us. These gatherings provide a wonderful opportunity to come together in faith, celebrate this new chapter, and strengthen the partnership between home, school, and parish that is central to the Salesian tradition.

Mass: 8:05 am – 8:30 am
