To celebrate your child’s transition to Senior Schooling we are holding a dinner dance at Gainsborough Greens Golf Club on Friday 8th November.

Please arrive at 5:00pm for a 5.30pm start. Parents are invited to mingle at the start of the event and a dry cash bar will be available. The meet and greet time will be held in the outdoor space adjoining the main function area. At 5:30pm our current Year 9 LORDS students and staff will head inside and attend the 2024 LORDS Dinner Dance.

After the function, students will be escorted to the car park area at Gainsborough Greens Golf Club by LORDS staff and need to be collected from this area at 8:00pm sharp. Should students be leaving with someone other than their parent or guardian, a written note or email to this effect, with the name and contact details of the person who will be collecting them, must be given to your child’s Pastoral Care Teacher no later than Friday 1st November.

Attire - students should not go to great expense for the evening. Students are to be dressed in smart attire, similar to what would be worn for a nice dinner or special occasion. As this is a school event, we expect that dress for the evening will be appropriate and modest, in terms of length (around knee length or below) and coverage (dresses with straps and collared shirts).

We hold a Formal and Valedictory dinner for our graduating Year 12 class each year which will allow our students the opportunity to dress up in a more formal manner.
