This event is running in a HYBRID format (in-person and on Zoom simultaneously), leveraging high-quality writing from an iPad and a beautiful TV in the room.
The HSC Physics Module 7 Nature of Light Crash Course is being delivered by Rishabh Jain, a final-year Biomedical Engineering and Science student with over 4 years of tutoring experience.
In teaching more than 400 students across high school and university, Rishabh has helped countless students develop passion for their subjects, understand core concepts at a deeper level, develop effective study habits and excel in their exams. Rishabh's achievements include:
- Vice Captain Baulkham Hills High School 2019 - 99.80 ATAR
- 99 in Maths Ext 1
- 97 in Chemistry
- 96 in Maths Ext 2
- 95 in Physics
- Taught over 400 students across 4+ years of high school tutoring experience
- Australian Biology Olympiad Top 20
- USYD Engineering Tutor
- USYD ESIPS Scholar: Research and Development Engineer at Cochlear
Module 7 Nature of Light is one of the large modules in the HSC Physics syllabus, and includes a lot of complex experiments and theories, such as special relativity. This Crash Course will cover the entire module, including:
- Exploration of electromagnetism and spectra
- Evidence to support the wave model of light, including Young's Double Slit Diffraction
- Evidence to support the quantum model of light, including Black Body Radiation and the photoelectric effect
- Concepts of special relativity
Resources included:
- A workbook specially crafted for this session
- Nature of Light practice questions
- Quality notes that helped Rishabh achieve a 95 in Physics, and perfected over 4 years of teaching
Ticket fees will help cover room hire and other costs. Early-bird tickets end on 13th April at 11:59PM.
Let Rishabh help you excel in Term 2 and build a strong foundation for Module 7 Nature of Light!
