This event is designed to be safe, low key, conservative, modest and dignified. It's purpose and tone are aimed at being consistent with the values of a Catholic school.

Dress is formal and St Edmund’s College students who attend are encouraged to invite a guest.

The tickets are $130 each or $260 per double. This includes a 3-course meal and unlimited soft drinks as well as a DJ and security. Tables are arranged in groups of 10. The College has done all it can to keep the prices to a minimum but the market for end of year school formals dictate the costing.

We note that this event will only take place within ACT Government guidelines and regulations in terms of COVID-19 at the time. The College has no choice but to be governed by these decisions. At this point we do not know what they will be. If the event does not take place an outcome of COVID-19 restrictions, all money paid for tickets will be fully refunded.

Tickets will be available for sale from Monday 13th September 2021 and can be purchased online before 2 November 2021. Students can select their table, search for where friends are sitting and note any special dietary requirements when purchasing their tickets.

No alcohol will be available to any patron at this event regardless of his or her age. This requirement has been reinforced to the College by the management of the venue. Anyone choosing to ignore this or other venue requirements (including arriving under the influence of alcohol) will be removed (or denied entry) from the function by the venue staff without warning. The College will not intervene in any judgement made on this basis. Parents will be contacted if this is necessary.

Arrivals will commence from 5.30pm with the formalities starting at 6pm.

As the College has a duty of care for students and their guests during this event, please note that no student or his partner will be permitted to leave the venue before 10:00pm.

Please understand that the College’s Duty of Care finishes at 10.00pm at the end of the function. Please ensure your son and his guest are collected by a parent at 10:00pm sharp.

The College does not endorse after formal parties or activities which may be organised by students or others. Any parents hosting such events need to be aware of their legal liabilities and responsibilities in doing so.
