Year 7 Mothers and Carer’s Weekend Away

An annual tradition for Year 7 Mum's is to join together and have a weekend away getting to know each other over a long lunch.

We are pleased to announce that the Year 7 Weekend Away will be held in Orange, NSW from Friday, 23rd May to Sunday, 25th May 2025. Please be advised that you will need to arrange your own accommodation. We now have the itinerary available and kindly request that you select the events you wish to attend via Humanitix to secure your seat:

FRIDAY 23 MAY

Opening Night - Casual Dinner and Drinks

Ticket price: Free - Pay on consumption

Time: 6.30pm

Location: Hotel Canobolas, 248 Summer Street, Orange

SATURDAY 24 MAY

Breakfast at Leisure

Optional morning walk, run or shopping (more details to come)

Bus transport to and from lunch

Ticket price: $16

Time: Pick up 11.40am from Orange CBD transport to Borrodell Estate Winery, return to Parrott Distillery at 5-5.30pm

Lunch - The Main Event

Ticket price: $130 (Includes welcome drink and 3 course meal)

Time: 12pm – 5pm

Location: Borrodell Estate Winery, 298 Lake Canobolas Road, Orange

Dinner - "Afters"

Ticket price: Free – Pay on consumption (Pizza’s and drinks available to purchase)

Time: 5.30pm – 10pm

Location: Parrot Distilling Co, 66 Endsleigh Ave, Orange

SUNDAY 25 MAY

Breakfast at Leisure and travel home safely.

Getting to Orange, NSW

By Car: Orange is approximately 3.5 hours west of Sydney, travelling via the Great Western Highway.

By Train: Trains from Sydney central to Orange, NSW run once a day on Friday's and take approximately 4.45hours, departing at 7.19am arriving at 12.04pm, see transport NSW for ticket information.

By Plane: If traveling by air you will need to land in Orange Regional Airport.
