♻️ Go Behind the Scenes of Where Your Waste Goes!

Ever wondered what happens to your waste after it leaves your bin? Join the LSC Waste Team for a unique Landfill and Resource Recovery Centre tour as part of National Recycling Week.

Date & Time: Wednesday 12 November | 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Meeting Point: Yeppoon Town Hall, 25 Normanby St, Yeppoon

This guided mini bus tour will give you a first-hand look at how waste is managed, sorted, and recycled in our region. It’s a fascinating experience for anyone curious about sustainability and waste management.

Important Info:

  • Open to all members of the public

  • Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult

  • Closed-in shoes required

  • Participants remain in the vehicle for the duration of the tour
