    Event description

Come and join the SEQLD - Young Farmers Connect network for their next field day on a journey of social enterprise on Monday 1 November 2021.

(Please Note – Due to covid this event is a ticketed event as numbers are limited - only ticket holders can attend.)

This field day will include a farm walk, discussion with our farmer host Arran and Liam who will discuss the community and social enterprise model of farming of Millen Farm and their respective farms onsite.
This is a great opportunity to meet and network with other farmers in the region focused on small scale, regenerative ecological farm systems, as well as hear from experts in complimentary fields.

Millen Farm is a not-for-profit community-based organisation in the Samford Valley, just 30 minutes from the Brisbane CBD. Our aim is to establish a financially and ecologically sustainable urban farming system and then offer a helping hand to others who’d like to do something similar.
It hosts Powerful Owl Permaculture and The Mini Farm Project.
