Celebrate the 75th anniversary of Yom Ha'atzmaut with the Zionist Council of NSW's community concert and carnival! Join us on Sunday, April 30th for a day of music, food, and fun that's sure to delight the whole family.
Our carnival will be filled with exciting rides, games, and attractions for people of all ages. From community stalls, markets, youth movements, crafts, jumping castles to carnival games, and more, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Take a spin on the tea cups or have some nana tea in the chill zone - the choice is yours!
There will be live music all event featuring the Emanuel, Moriah & Masada school bands, local Israeli & Jewish musicians and as the sun starts to set, settle in for an unforgettable concert featuring some of the best Israeli music acts in the country - The Simon Starr Ensemble. Dance the night away to the beat of the best Israeli folk songs or sing along to your favourite Israeli hits. It's the perfect way to celebrate Israel's independence day and showcase our community's rich cultural heritage.
Of course, no carnival would be complete without delicious food, and we've got that covered too. Enjoy traditional Israeli dishes like falafel, hummus, or indulge in sweet treat! There will be plenty of options to choose from, so come hungry and leave satisfied!
