Description

A yin yoga and meditation practice for spring season to cultivate clarity.

This afternoon will focus on gallbladder and liver meridians associated with the season of spring in Traditional Chinese Medicine on which Yin yoga is based.

The season of spring often asks us to start something new, to take initiative and see the seeds we planted to burst into growth. We want to tend to these urges and goals with clarity, patience and steadiness of energy and mind.

During this afternoon you are invited to let go of any doing, holding or thinking, and remain mindful of each breath, each new beginning while simply surrendering into being breathed.

This practice - on the mat - nourishes our bodies and minds through slowness and stillness of yin yoga and seated meditation - so that we can take what we practice on the mat, to our everyday lives, off the mat.

Sunday 8 Nov 2026

4.30 - 6 pm

AUD35/pp

All bodies welcome. No previous experience required.

Yin yoga targets our deeper tissues: fascia, joints, tendons, ligaments and even our bones. The poses are all floor based (lying down or seated) and passively held for 3-6 minutes. Yin yoga creates hydration and restoration in our tissues and resilience in the mind.

Our yoga shala has mats, blankets and blocks for all.

With love
