Join Rose, an experienced yoga teacher and sound healer, and Dr. Nathan Chin, a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Registered Acupuncturist, for a unique blend of Yin Yoga, acupuncture, and sound healing. This 2-hour session is designed to gently restore vital energy, renew your body and mind, and provide deep relaxation.

What to Expect:

During this session, we’ll harmonise Yin Yoga with acupuncture to promote a heightened flow of energy through the body’s meridians, based on principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Our practice will focus on summer’s qualities—warmth, growth, and the fire element—exploring the meridians related to the fire element, especially the heart meridian.

The session will begin with a brief introduction to TCM and Yin Yoga, followed by a series of supported yin yoga poses for the heart meridian, held for up to five minutes. Each pose is designed to open your meridians and prepare your body for a deep state of relaxation before acupuncture. The practice will close with an extended savasana as crystal bowl sounds surround you, while Dr. Nathan provides gentle acupuncture to specific points, guiding you into a blissful, restorative state.

Who is This For?

This session is ideal for anyone seeking a complete release from the demands of daily life and a chance to return feeling recharged in body, mind, and spirit. No prior experience with yoga or acupuncture is necessary. Just bring an open mind and the ability to move to and from your mat unassisted.

What to Bring:

Yoga mat and water bottle
Comfortable, temperature-appropriate clothing
Optional: personal bolster, cushion, or blanket for added comfort

All props will be provided; however if you wish to bring your own or use additional props, please feel free to bring them.

Light refreshments will be offered after the session to help ground you before you go.
