Description

🌿 Yin & Pins ~ Spring

As the energy of spring begins to stir, we invite you to pause, soften and reconnect.

Join Sarah, Yin Yoga teacher and Reiki Practitioner, and Acupuncturist Lucie for a deeply nourishing experience weaving together Yin Yoga, Acupuncture and Reiki.

Inspired by the elements of spring, we’ll explore themes of renewal, growth, movement and letting go, creating space for the body, mind and energy to gently shift with the season.

Through the stillness of Yin, the ancient wisdom of Acupuncture and the subtle energy of Reiki, this is an invitation to release what feels heavy, reconnect with yourself and make space for what wants to bloom 🌱✨

No previous experience with Yin, Acupuncture or Reiki is needed. Whether you’re completely new or already familiar with these practices, you are warmly welcome.

We hope to see you there!

FAQs

  • Is acupuncture safe?

Yes. Acupuncture needles are sterile and single-use, so a fresh needle is used for every insertion.

The points we’ll be using during Yin & Pin are also carefully selected and are not close to any major organs. As with any treatment, your practitioner will work within appropriate safety guidelines throughout the session.

  • Does acupuncture hurt?

The needles used in acupuncture are incredibly fine — around the width of a hair. You may feel a tiny prick for a second as the needle goes in, but most people find the treatment very relaxing.

For Yin & Pin, there will be no needle manipulation. Once the needles are placed, they simply stay there while you relax.

  • Does acupuncture actually work?

Acupuncture works by stimulating the nervous system, which can influence the body in different ways. There is evidence to support acupuncture for a variety of different concerns, and it can help support the body’s natural healing and regulation processes.

  • What is actually happening when you put the needles in?

Think of an acupuncture needle like pressing a button. The needle sends a message to the brain, which then helps create a response in the body.

So, even if a needle seems far away from the area you’re concerned about, the needle itself isn’t necessarily “doing the healing” in that spot — it’s sending a message to the brain to help create the desired response.
