Yin Yoga & Self Exploration ~ 3 part Series

As we move into the busiest part of the year (Silly Season) I think it is important to create space, block out time and commit to slowing down. The busy full calendars and tight schedules is creating ++ YANG energy / masculine, so it is even more important to equalise by honouring the YIN energy.
Yin - meaning restful, slow, feminine, restorative, inwards
Yin Yoga is a floor based practice, in each pose you are set up for comfort with support of bolsters, pillows and blocks and the poses are held for >2min, with the goal of surrender, release and decompression of the nervous system, yin offers the perfect environment for turning inward, checking in with yourself and allowing healing and restoration to take place.
This offering is a 3 part series over a 6 week period, gathering once every fortnight on a Wednesday evening.
Outline for the sessions
- 60min yin yoga
- 30min time for self reflection, journalling & sharing (if you feel called)
On the week when we do not practice journal prompts will be provided, for further self exploration and honouring of your own needs.
I recommend arriving by 5.20pm to have time to settle in, create your restful nest and begin peacefully.
BYO Yoga Mat, Eye pillows & Blanket (Lets get comfy)
Bolster, Blocks & cushions & eye cover will be available to use
