Cacao Yin & Sound - Heated Infrared Room
Description
The Complete Reset
Yin Yoga • Cacao • Sound
Release • Restore • Reconnect
A Journey of Deep Rest, Heart Connection & Nervous System Regulation
Step into a deeply nourishing two-hour experience designed to help you slow down, release built-up tension and reconnect with your body, breath and heart.
Held in the gentle warmth of an infrared-heated room, this immersive journey combines ceremonial cacao, Yin Yoga, fascia-focused movement and sound healing to create space for relaxation, self-connection and restoration.
Beginning with a beautiful cacao ceremony, we invite you to pause, arrive in the present moment and set an intention for your experience. From there, we'll move into a slow and supportive Yin Yoga practice, allowing the body to soften through longer-held postures while exploring the relationship between fascia, breath and body awareness.
Throughout the practice, soothing sound and vibration will be woven into the experience, supporting moments of stillness, reflection and deep rest.
This is an opportunity to step away from the demands of everyday life, nourish your nervous system and give yourself permission to simply be.
You don't need to push, perform or achieve anything.
You are invited to soften, breathe, receive and come home to yourself.

Yin Yoga & Fascia Health
Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative style of yoga that invites us to explore stillness, body awareness and relaxation. Unlike more dynamic forms of yoga, Yin postures are generally held for several minutes, often with the support of bolsters, blocks and other props.
The practice explores the body's fascia and connective tissues, which form a continuous network throughout the body, surrounding and supporting muscles, bones, organs and other structures.
Through gentle, sustained postures, Yin Yoga can help us explore mobility, flexibility and the sensations of tension and release. It also offers an opportunity to become more aware of how we hold stress in the body and how the breath can support a softer, more mindful experience.
Yin Yoga is traditionally influenced by Traditional Chinese Medicine and its meridian system. While meridians are part of a traditional healing framework rather than structures established in modern anatomy, they can provide a meaningful way to explore body awareness and intention during practice.
How Yin Yoga May Support You
Encourages relaxation through slower movement and stillness.
Supports mobility and flexibility through gentle, sustained postures.
Helps develop awareness of sensations, breath and areas of tension.
Encourages a more mindful relationship with the body.
Supports restful pauses and recovery from everyday activity.
Offers an opportunity to explore the traditional meridian system.
May help cultivate a greater sense of calm and self-connection.
There is no need to be flexible or experienced. Yin is an invitation to listen to your body, work within your own comfort and allow yourself to be supported.

Ceremonial Cacao & Heart Connection
Cacao has a long history of cultural significance, particularly among Indigenous peoples of Mesoamerica. In contemporary wellness settings, ceremonial cacao is often incorporated into intentional practices centred on connection, reflection and ritual.
As part of our experience, we'll share a warm cup of cacao as a moment to pause, arrive and connect with yourself.
Rather than needing to achieve a particular emotional experience, this ceremony invites you to bring your own intention and allow space for presence, warmth and inward reflection.
Cacao naturally contains compounds such as theobromine, magnesium and flavanols. Its nutritional composition and effects vary depending on the type, preparation and quantity consumed. It is not necessary to view cacao as a medical treatment to appreciate its role as a mindful ritual.
A moment to slow down, open to connection and nourish yourself from within.

Sound Healing & Vibrational Relaxation
Sound will be woven throughout our journey, accompanying the Yin practice and moments of rest.
The tones and vibrations of crystal singing bowls and other sound instruments offer an opportunity to pause, listen and bring your attention into the present moment.
Sound can become a supportive part of a relaxation practice, helping you shift your focus away from the busyness of the day and toward breathing, listening and sensing.
You may experience moments of:
Deep relaxation and rest.
Greater awareness of breath and bodily sensations.
A quieter environment for reflection.
Mindful attention and stillness.
A sense of grounding and self-connection.
Different people respond to sound in different ways. There is no particular experience you need to have. Simply allow yourself to listen and receive in a way that feels comfortable for you.
Sound is an invitation to pause, breathe and reconnect through vibration and presence.
A Note on 432 Hz
Some sound practitioners use music or instruments tuned to 432 Hz and describe the experience as calming or grounding. Individual responses to sound vary, and there is not enough robust evidence to claim that 432 Hz has unique healing effects compared with other tuning frequencies.

Infrared Warmth & Relaxation
Our practice takes place in a gently infrared-heated room, creating a warm and comfortable environment for your experience.
Heat can help muscles feel more relaxed and may temporarily increase blood flow to the skin and muscles. Combined with slow movement and mindful breathing, a warm environment can support a sense of comfort and ease.
Potential Benefits of Gentle Heat
Encourages relaxation and physical comfort.
May help ease feelings of muscular tightness.
Supports a warm and nurturing environment for practice.
May make gentle movement feel more comfortable.
Creates space for quiet reflection and rest.
A gentle reminder: Heat can increase sweating and fluid loss. Sweating is not established as a method for detoxifying the body; the liver and kidneys perform most of the body's detoxification. Please listen to your body, stay hydrated and let us know if you need to cool down or take a break.
A Space to Release, Restore & Receive
Life can be busy. We often spend our days doing, giving, working and caring for others, leaving little space to pause and check in with ourselves.
This experience is an invitation to step out of that cycle for a while.
Whether you've been feeling stressed, overwhelmed, physically tense or simply craving some time for yourself, this journey offers a chance to slow down and reconnect.
Through breath, gentle movement, warmth, sound and intention, we'll create space to explore what it feels like to be supported rather than constantly pushing forward.
You don't have to arrive feeling a certain way.
You don't have to fix anything.
You don't have to be flexible, fit or experienced.
Come exactly as you are.
Give yourself permission to:
Breathe.
Soften.
Release.
Rest.
Receive.
Leave with the opportunity to feel more rested, connected and supported in your body.
