Why do both Yin Yoga and Yin Breathwork together?

Our bodies can hold stored emotions, trauma and other 'stuckness' that we might not even be aware of (or really need to investigate on a mental level.) Combining both these modalities really allows for a deeping into any 'stuckness.' As we breathe we may 'stir things up.' As we move our bodies, we can help to integrate and/or release and/or let go, at an even deeper level. Combining these two beautiful modalities just feels so right! We hope you will join us.

Sandi and Nancy bring years of experience to provide a safe, welcoming and nurturing space for you to let go of inner stress and all which no longer serves you. Using both of these beautiful modalities to reset your body and your nervous system.

YIN YOGA

Join Nancy from Heal2Flow for Yin yoga, working deeply into your body with passive, longer-held poses. Energetically, Yin yoga improves the energy flow, enhancing the flow of chi in the organs. To be healthy, we need healthy organs as well as healthy muscles. Yin yoga also offers wonderful emotional and mental health benefits. Nancy will guide you to target deeper fascia networks of the body and the meridians for release and relaxation immersed in a Crystal Sound Bath. Mats, blocks & bolsters will be provided.

YIN BREATHWORK

Join Sandi from Breath and Beyond as she takes you on a journey into a gentle form of guided breathwork using breath in and out of the nose. This breathwork is accompanied by various sound healing instruments including crystal sound bowls, drums and flute. Yin Breathwork is completed lying down in a Shavasana position. Yin Breathwork is a very simple technique available to anyone. You cannot get it wrong! This is a non force method of breathwork. There are often no 'visible' or outward signs of release of stress and tension in the body however the effects are very deep and profound and may continue for days.
