Event description
Yin & Meditation Retreat
This all-inclusive, luxurious weekend includes all the essential elements to conjure up feelings of peace, serenity and a deep sense of wellbeing.
This is time for you to set aside the requests of day to day life and relish a change of scenery, fresh country air, strolling amongst rows of Shiraz grapes, all the while, quietening the mind and nourishing the body.
This weekend is for you. Friday 16th to Sunday 18th Feb 2024.
“The retreat felt like a great big warm hug from start to finish. It was everything I had hoped and more” -Danni Clutterbuck
The overview
Starting 3pm Friday through to our late checkout at 4pm Sunday, we accumulate over seven hours of yoga and five hours of meditation classes. There will be a few gentle vinyasa yoga classes included to move the body.
Our private chef will ensure we enjoy incredible food throughout the weekend with all dietary requirements catered for.
Luxury accommodation is either twin or single share basis, each room with an ensuite.
This boutique retreat will create a personal and intimate space for all guests. Open to all genders and all levels of experience from beginner yogi or meditator, all the way through to advanced practitioners.
“How do you find time to stop, pause and nourish yourself in our modern world? This retreat. You won’t know how much you need this and how quickly you can change gear until you have done this retreat.” -Drew Pearce
Friday
Afternoon arrival is around a delicious platter as we settle into retreat-mode. In the lounge we create space for casual introductions and then move straight into a yin yoga practice to gently apply the metaphorical brakes, slowing life’s faster rhythms and setting the pace for our weekend.
After dinner we make ourselves comfortable for guided meditation, after which some people may prefer to take advantage of an optional swim in the pool before the night is out.
Saturday
Saturday begins with meditation and a gentle hatha yoga class, which prepares our body for a nutritious breakfast. Whilst digesting, we’ll come together for a group meditation to workshop aspects of our Yoga Nidra practice, before moving into our morning yin session.
After a long lunch, and some time to swim, we regroup to dive into a trifecta of hatha, followed by yin, and then closing with Yoga Nidra guided meditation.
Following this extended practice, our private chef creates another mouth-watering and nutritious dinner, after which, we gather in the lounge for Sangha — a mind-expanding group discussion about yogic philosophies.
Sunday
Sunday begins with a morning practice of gentle hatha yoga and meditation before a delicious breakfast.
We roll our mats out again to dive into meditation, an extended yin practice, roll our way into lunch, then close the weekend with a guided meditation to solidify this feeling we each take home.
