Yin Yoga Infused with Breath awareness and Cacao
Event description
Welcoming you into a warm, nurturing space where you can quieten the mind, let the stresses of your day go and tune into your body. You will be guided through a mindful Cacao activation where you will indulge into a warm brew of Cacao.
Following this we will connect into our breath, expanding our awareness and quieting the mind.
Transitioning into Yin yoga. This is a simple, powerful practise, accessible to all, where we hold poses for a longer duration, accessing the deep tissue and fascia system of the body and arriving into deep relaxation.
Finishing off this nourishing experience with a meditation to integrate the mind, body and spirit back into the space.
Yin Yoga:
Yin yoga is a nourishing and nurturing practise where we acess these deeper parts of the body including the fascia system,which is where many people hold unwanted energy. Accessing these deeper parts of the body that have not yet had space to breath allows a sense of spaciousness and deep relaxation.
Breath Awareness:
This is a beautiful way to introduce conscious breathing into the body. Becoming aware of your breath capacity, developing a deeper connection to your breath.
This taster of breathwork has so many benefits including quietening the mind, lower cortisol, balance the nervous system and alkalise the body.
I also holds longer 1:1 Breathwork sessions that can support you to access a deeper connection to self. By allowing access to past experiences and hidden emotions that may not be completely understood to the mind. Through the breath we may be able to release some of this trapped energy and develop deeper understandings/clarity.
