Western Australia’s Noongar Aboriginal people live by six seasons, Djeran is the season of April, May and represents the ending of the heat and the start of cooler weather. It is a time to nourish and prepare the body for the cold that is coming.

Djeran is a time of red flowers especially from the Red Flowering Gum.

Red also represents the root chakra, or Muladhara which is located at the base of your spine. It provides you with a base or foundation for life, and assists you to feel grounded and able to withstand challenges. Your root chakra is responsible for your sense of security and stability. We will enjoy some Yin poses to ground into the Muladhara Chakra, connecting to self and honouring the space within as weather starts to shift 🙏
