Taking our regular Yin & Yoga Nidra Immersion sessions to the next level this month... We're inviting Jo from Ombak Sounds to serenade you with sound bowls as you enjoy a longer, post Nidra savasana.
We'll start with a full Yin Yoga session led by Sal, to drop you deep into your body, before guiding you blissfully into a Yoga Nidra practice, (a guided meditation, otherwise known as 'yogic sleep'). Jo's beautiful, healing sounds will start to soak into the space, as she then masterfully takes over, and guides you into a blissful 30 minute Sound Bath.

MORE ABOUT YIN...
Yin Yoga is a deep practice of holding specific poses for longer periods of time. In doing so, we aim to go beyond the superficial muscular tissue of the body that we use all the time, and instead, open on a far deeper level - into the fascia; (deeper-set tissue) that weaves its way throughout our physical body. This allows the fascial tubes to invite fluid and hydration to where it’s needed within the body, allowing for more overall health, freedom of movement and flexibility. We intersperse each pose with a full body ‘rebound’, to allow the tissues to reset.
Yin yoga allows for deep release to occur on all levels; not only physically, but energetically – through the meridian lines and energy pathways of the body, and also emotionally – allowing us to reflect and go within, feeling our body shift and change, observing our breathing and practicing the art of surrender to our body, thoughts, feelings and emotions.

The practice of Yoga Nidra is designed to let you fully rest and re-set your nervous system, encouraging healing and nourishment of your cells; letting them rebuild and restore, (activating the 'Rest & Digest', or Para-sympathetic nervous system).
Yoga Nidra has been said to be the equivalent of about 4 hours of sleep... What a treat!

Sal is an experienced yoga teacher, with a strong belief that the practice is as much about yoga 'off the mat', as it is on it. Sal's own practice has led her on a journey back to herself, time and again.
Trained in Hatha, Yin & Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga, she is also passionate about Yoga Nidra and Meditation.
Sal is also a registered Celebrant and a Reiki Master, healing and teaching in the Tibetan lineage.
She often weaves her love of philosophy throughout each class, allowing you to get curious about your relationship with your physical, emotional and energetic body as a whole, encouraging you to take your practice out into the World!
Jo (Ombak Sounds) is a beautiful Sound Healer and Musician, working with Singing Bowls, Drums, and other instruments. She regularly supports teachers and holistic practitioners in classes and Yoga workshops, to help to amplify the experience for students, to aid healing and deeper practice.
