KiKi Shiatsu Yoga invites you to a Yin Yoga Shiatsu and Deep Rest Immersion

Learn how the Water and Wood elements in Traditional Chinese Medicine work together to support balance and well being. Water brings strength and flow, while Wood encourages growth, direction, and renewal.

You will be guided through a Yin Yoga practice accompanied with nurturing Shiatsu touch, blending mindfulness and meditation throughout each posture.

As Winter merges into Spring this immersion is an opportunity to gently connect these two seasons. An invitation for you to breathe, pause and to curiously explore the entire experience.

Arrival Time Arrive 10 minutes prior as we will begin on time. The latest entry time will be 5 minutes after we commence. The nature of this immersion does not lend itself to participants arriving late.

What To Wear Loose comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement and relaxation. Layers are ideal so you can adjust your comfort level throughout the immersion.

Bring Along The studio is equipped with yoga mats and bolsters, should you have your own feel free to bring them along. And, if you have your own eye pillow they are such a lovely addition during the deep rest. In fact BYO any additional props such as blankets and pillows that will assist you in generating additional comfort.

Shiatsu & Yin Yoga Yin Yoga Shiatsu and Deep Rest is performed on a yoga mat with props on the floor. Shiatsu is hands on touch that works with the body's energy flow. It uses acupressure to release tension and bring balance to the body. Yin Yoga is a slow paced style of yoga that involves holding postures to target the deep connective tissues like fascia, ligaments and joints. Each Yin posture can be held for up to 5 minutes. As part of this immersion participants will receive nurturing Shiatsu touch to support physical and mental well being.

On The Day Give your body the chance to digest meals that have been eaten earlier throughout the day and if possible refrain from stimulants such as caffeine a couple of hours before
