Yin Yoga + Sound Journey with Nik Robson & Samantha May
Description
Join Nik Robson and Samantha May for a deeply restorative evening weaving Yin Yoga, ceremonial cacao and sacred sound.
Yin invites the body to slow down, soften and settle into longer-held postures. As Nik guides you through the practice, Samantha will create a live soundscape specifically woven to complement the energetic quality of each pose.
The stillness of Yin allows the body to become more receptive to sound, while vibration can support relaxation, deepen embodied awareness and create space for emotional and energetic release. Together, these practices offer a unique opportunity to move beyond the thinking mind and reconnect with yourself on a deeper level.
This is Nik’s first event in New Zealand since returning from Bali and Samantha’s final collaboration before heading overseas—a special one-off experience not to be missed.
No previous yoga or sound journey experience is required. All levels are warmly welcome, and variations will be offered throughout the practice.
