Event description

This yogic boost is designed to completely cherish and nurture you to support you through the cold winter months.
During the winter season, the energy of the Earth and its creatures is drawn inward. We can use this time for restoration and introspection, just as many plants and animals use it for hibernation. In preparation for the spring, it is important to slow down and rejuvenate.

This replenishing Yoga and Ayurveda event is a down-to-earth and well-balanced mix of Movement, Sound Meditation, Relaxation and delicious nourishing Food.

Your yoga and movement classes will be specifically designed to help you connect to pause and reflect while you restore and nurture yourself. Allow yourself to reconnect, unwind, slow down, recharge, rejuvenate, renew, recalibrate and reset.

The vegetarian menu is carefully designed to keep your body fully nourished and excite your tastebuds. Meals will be deliciously prepared according to Ayurvedic principles, with a taste of Southern Indian cuisine.

Menu:

* Samosa + Coconut Chutney

* Creamy Vegetable Korma Curry

* Spiced Rice

* Lentil Dhal

* Cabbage + Coconut Fuggath

* Chai

* Chocolate Cake & Coconut Cake with Berries

The Yoga class will be focusing on nurturing gentle movement to support the process to rest, reflect, let go and create a state of emotional equilibrium. The Sound meditation is a focused awareness type of meditation that uses sound to help calm one’s body, mind and promote a sense of overall well-being. It uses sound to help people relax, meditate, to promote self-inquiry and self-discovery.

Tap into the power of Yoga and Ayurveda and get rooted in healthy and everlasting habits of overall wellbeing. Lydia (Yoga teacher) and Bernadette (Ayurvedic consultant) combine their skills on yogic and ayurvedic knowledge and offer a unique insight to optimise your wellbeing.
Explored together, these complementary practices can offer us transformative tools that foster greater health and vitality. Ayurveda and Yoga have a symbiotic relationship, each helping the other to enhance its own benefits. Ayurveda is the science of healing and Yoga improves the organ function of the body and improves the internal environment of the body and mind.

Come and fill up your cup.
