YMCA Springfield Lakes January School Holiday Program 2024

YMCA Springfield Lakes Community Centre invites you to join in the fun with our January 2024 School Holiday Program.

WEEK 1	DISNEY WEEK 8th - 12th January
Mon 8th Jan 10am - 11am	Crown Making (ages 5 - 12) Get creative and design your own crown in this workshop. The crowns will be created using beaded pearls and wire.
Tue 9th Jan 10am - 11am	Pooh Bear Honey Jar/ Pot Decorating & Native Bee Hive Harvest (ages 3 - 12) Experience with us a presentation and our native bee hive being harvested by the Australian Native Bee Co. Stay with us after the harvest to decorate your own honey jar, just like pooh bear!
Wed 10th Jan 10am - 11am	Moana Lays & Bands Crafting (ages 5 - 12) Create your own set of Moana bands and a floral lay with this fun craft workshop.
Thu 11th Jan 10am - 11am	Mickey Mouse Box Decorating (ages 3 - 12) Decorate a mickey mouse themed box to use as a jewelry box, treasure box or anything you chose it to be.
Fri 12th Jan 10am - 11am	Dress Up Disney Disco (ages 3 - 12) Dress up as in your best Disney costumes and join in a morning of Disney songs, dancing, games and disco fun!

WEEK 2	ACTIVE WEEK 15th - 19th January
Mon 15th Jan 10sm - 11am	Active Tots (ages 1 - 4) Come and experience our Active Tots program - designed for ages 1-4, this program builds motor and movement skills through free play activity including soft play, movement games and obstacle equipment.
Tue 16th Jan 2pm - 3pm	Matt Fiddes Martial Arts (ages 5-12) Come along and learn your basic martial art skills with Matt Fiddes martial arts.
Wed 17th Jan 10am - 12pm	Kids Fun Boot Camp Challenge (ages 5-12) Does your kid love to move? Join in our Kids Fun Boot camp for a morning of exercise in a fun, positive environment. They’ll enjoy the challenge and experience the fun with obstacle and sport equipment, strength and cardio exercises, and movement game.
Thu 18th Jan 10 - 12pm	Carnival Fun Day (ages 1-12) Come on down to our centre for a morning of Carnival themed fun! This morning has lots of activities to enjoy - a balloon dome, balloon twisting, carnival mask making, hula hoop and skipping, juggling, bubbles and parachute, and popcorn to eat!
Fri 19th Jan 9.30 - 11.15am	Move It Dance And Fitness - Kids & Toddler Dance Classes (ages 15m - 6yr) Experience the joy of dance with Move It! Join in our Tiny Movers (15m - 2.5y), Mini Movers (2.5 - 4yr), Creative Tap & Jazz (4-6yr) or Pre-Junior Tap & Jazz (6-8yr).

All Activities are a $3 Donation (payable on arrival - cash or Eftpos available).

Please note that parents MUST remain onsite with your child while they participate in the activities.
