Description

An exhibition showcasing artwork by people experiencing Young Onset Dementia (<65 years of age when diagnosed). The event is designed to raise community awareness of Young Onset Dementia and to highlight diagnosis is “a bend in the road, not the end of the road”.

YODyssey gives artists who have Young Onset Dementia the opportunity to share and celebrate their artwork while they can still recognise and take pride in their creations, and cherish the familiar faces of their family and friends. The exhibition raises awareness of the growing prevalence of Young Onset Dementia and Dementia and acknowledges the contribution those afflicted by the condition still make to our community.

The feature artists for 2026 are Chris Carmichael and Paul Van Welie. The 'Robert Anson Perpetual Award' will be presented at the closing event.

Closing event: Sunday 15 November 2026, 2:.00pm - 3.30pm
