In this workshop, we will problem solve together to help you develop a clear understanding of how to apply key alignment concepts to your unique physical structure.
The structure of this class was passed down from Maty Ezraty, a direct disciple of K. Pattabhi Jois, and has completely changed my approach to asana and how I move in my body.
This 2.5hr masterclass is an introduction to key concepts of alignment in yoga. This masterclass will include demonstration, discussion and assisted and non – assisted adjustments. Perfect for those starting yoga, and those who would like feedback on their personal practice, including advanced yogis and teachers. This workshop will guide you deeper into your postures and practice.
*What you’ll learn*
- Key cues and muscle engagements that can be used in all postures.
- Correct alignment and muscle engagement for all the basic asanas, using props and demonstrations.
- The correct and safe movement through Chaturanga and Sun Salutations.
