A question I get asked every so often is whether there's a beginner-friendly yoga class that covers essentials like breathing techniques, poses, and meditation.

On May 5th there will be a special Yoga class that will go through the basics, developing both knowledge and confidence to participate in a variety of yoga classes. 

Here's a breakdown of what the class will entail:

  • Introduction to Traditional Hatha Yoga, which includes some Yoga Philosophy 
  • Centering Practice: Breath Awareness
  • Warm-up Yoga Sequence
  • Traditional Yoga Sequence: Standing and Floor Poses
  • Meditation in a reclined position
  • Seated Meditation with a Namaste conclusion
