Bringing the two most powerful systems for transformation together ~ To heal and nurture your Body, Mind and Soul

Join us for a Dosha balancing and nourishing sunset Yoga with Moksha, Puja and Rao in front of the stunning Bell Towers, followed by a talk on Ayurveda and finishing the evening with a healing Sattvic meal at Annalakshmi.

Ayurveda is considered by many scholars to be the oldest healing science.

Just as everyone has a unique fingerprint, each person has a particular pattern of energy—an individual combination of physical, mental and emotional characteristics—which comprises their own constitution or Dosha - in Ayurveda these are known as -

Vata - The Energy of Movement and is made of Air and Ether

Pitta - The Energy of Digestion and Metabolism is made of Fire and little water

Kapha - The Energy of Lubrication is made of Earth and Water

Yoga is like the sun itself, which brightens everything that comes into contact with it. Yoga is usually defined as a union between body, mind and spirit, as well as between the individual self and universal consciousness. The aim of Yoga is not really to unite us with anything for we are already united. It is to help us realise our identity with the Divine Self, to make us know and tune into our intrinsic nature.

India - $5 from every ticket purchased will be going towards providing food for the poor affected by Covid 19 in India. In India the situation is getting worse, and most people are dying of starvation. If anyone would like to donate more you can do so on the day. Pls ensure you all BYO Mats and a blanket or towel to support your practice would be great. If there's anything else you feel might be helpful for your practice, please bring it along. As the weather is cooler in the evenings, please bring warm clothing.
