Yoga, drumming and a singing bowl relaxation.
Join experienced yoga teachers Annah and Jenny for this special event! A combination of yoga, gentle sun salutes with the djembe drum, a drumming circle where you get to play rhythms together and a deeply relaxing singing bowl experience.
Annah from Padaba Yoga will be hosting the djembe mindfulness drumming circle during this event. Don't have a drum? Don't worry, Annah has plenty! This is a fun experience - and fine for beginners with no experience in music! The djembe drum is accessible to all! If you know how to clap, you know how to play! Drumming stimulates physical and neurological coordination, nurtures improvisation, concentration and creativity, great for stress relief and fosters a sense of belonging and community. Annah will make it easy and you'll have fun connecting with others in the group during this unique experience!
Jenny will take you through a combined yoga and drum practice involving 7 rounds of gentle sun salutes accompanied by the djembe drum. Jenny is used to providing modifications to make the practice accessible to everyone. There will also be a singing bowl relaxation experience with Jenny's extensive collection of quartz crystal singing bowls.
Annah also happens to be a qualified chef and has experience catering for various yoga events. Yes! That means afternoon tea will be provided along with a chance to catch up and connect with others after an invigorating djembe play!
