All bodies/identities are welcome
It has been a hard season, collectively. More pronounced and pointy for some. A quiet carrying of grief and witnessing for others.
There is an old Irish proverb: "It is in the shelter of each other that the people live"
This rings true for Yogic, Buddhist and many First Nations understandings of 'Interbeing' or 'Interconnectedness' in the west. Challenging the 'separate self'. Acknowledging that we are all connected as part of a larger whole.
In these times of collective chaos, we invite the intention of seeking refuge in the here and now. No running from or torward.
We explore finding shelter within the community of body.
The medicine of the breath.
The courage to unfurl and open to 'here'.
Harp soundscapes will support us to soften and settle into each moment.
As we open to all that is, attunement begins to take place - collective holding.
To greet sorrow today does not mean that sorrow will be there tomorrow. Happiness comes too, and grief, and tiredness, disappointment, surprise and energy. Chaos and fulfilment will be named as well as delight and despair. This is the truth of being here, wherever here is today. It may not be permanent but it is here. I will probably leave here, and I will probably return. To deny here is to harrow the heart. Hello to here"
