Join Jenn & Jana at Green Monday Studios for a 90 minute afternoon session of Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing to raise funds for Palestine Australia Relief and Action (PARA) as a community.

What to expect:
Grounding Yin style Yoga Practice guided by Jenn to rest the mind and body, followed by a Yoga Nidra practice (yogic sleep meditation) to experience deep rest and spacious awareness.

Alongside the yoga practice, Jana will fill the space with soothing vibrations of singing bowls, tongue drums, chimes and ethereal vocals — ending the session with an all-encompassing sound bath.

*Note that access to the venue is up two flights of stairs

What to bring:
Comfortable clothes you can move in, another warm layer, water bottle, and something to cover the eyes is always nice for Yoga Nidra such as an eye mask or eye pillow.

About our fundraising efforts for PARA:
If you have the capacity to, we’d love for you to help us raise funds for PARA. They are currently in need of urgent funds to help 750 people who have recently arrived in Australia from Gaza to provide them with support for everything, from food to accommodation.

Through these practices of deep rest, both self & collective care are tended to. Yoga teaches us that all life is sacred and interconnected. The practice of Yoga doesn’t stop at the individual, as spiritual practioners we hope to collectively heal our shared humanity.

As the genocide continues to unfold relentlessly in Palestine, we want to offer this session to all who are feeling the grief, helplessness, heartbreak, overwhelm and in need of community care. Wellness extends beyond the self, sharing and healing together as a collective is what we need right now and always—to endure stronger.
