Join Kellie and Chelsea for a wholesome and nourishing day retreat at the Lotus Yoga Centre in Paraparaumu this September.

This day retreat has been thoughtfully curated to give your mind and body the space it has been asking for. It is an invitation to step away from the fast pace nature of every day life, allowing yourself to land in a supportive and welcoming day of wellness practices concentrated on the potency of yoga and sound.

It will be a full immersive experience, blending multiple therapeutic practices together that support nervous system regulation, and emotional, mental and physical wellbeing.

Throughout the day, you will be guided through various sound experiences, including therapeutic soundscapes and soulful live sound demonstrations. We will explore somatic practices designed to bring you out of the mind and gently back into the wisdom of your body, including flowing yoga to awaken and energise, and yin yoga to soften and restore.

We will share cacao in ritual together, combining mindfulness meditation and a somatic yoga nidra. We will also offer mantra, and other gentle voice and sound exploration practices, all in an encouraging, supportive, and relaxed group setting. We will offer dedicated periods of silence over the course of the day to allow these practices to settle deeply via encouraging inward contemplation and integration.

You will also be cared for with beautiful Ayurvedic-inspired food that is plant-based, gluten-free and made with love to nourish you from the inside out.

An important thing to note: This retreat is open to everyone, and all levels of yogis are welcome, including beginners. All of the offerings will be voluntarily. We encourage those who attend our events to follow along where and as they feel comfortable.
