Yoga and mindfulness for simplicity – Sangita

Sangita is passionate about sharing yoga and mindfulness practices to enhance well-being and create a more meaningful life.

This class is suitable for everyone, people managing health issues, and those who like the simplicity of practice. The class includes joint rotations, spinal stretching, gentle strengthening, and balance improvement. Yogic breathing for optimal well-being, followed by a yoga nidra relaxation. Modifications and extensions are provided to allow you to participate in ways that keep you safe and engaged.

Sangita is a talented musician and uses mantra and sound to open up meditative spaces. She founded Mountain Mindfulness to offer yoga and meditation classes, with regular weekend retreats in southern Tasmania. Sangita runs the Om Choir in Hobart and publishes the 'easy to play' kirtan series called Sangita's Songbooks.
