About Miss Camellia Tea
Camellia Agnes Thistleton aka Miss Camellia Tea is a Sydney based Gong Fu tea practioner who embodies and explores the wisdom of the tea plant Camellia sinensis, a sacred tree, a plant teacher that has inspired the Taoists and sages for health, longevity and meditation.
The service and sharing of tea is an age old tradition that brings people together for sacred connection, providing an opportunity to celebrate out similarities and differences.
When we sit for tea, we are subtly invited to embody the presciousness of each moment through a subtle state of mindfulness.
Through Camellia's travels through Japan, China and Nepal and continued tea tuition, she has come to honour 'cha dao' or 'the way of tea' in appreciation for this ancient, yet ever-evolving, culture. She dedicates her practice to harmony with nature, community and the collective wellbeing -- to your well-being and the well-being of our planet.
