Event description

A general class based on the Iyengar method of yoga for adults of any age and level of fitness. Iyengar yoga is a methodical style of yoga involving deep focus and precision in movement and alignment.  Classes involve learning a sequence of asanas (postures) and joining breath with movement. 

Students are taught "where they are" to facilitate their own individual practice. Potential benefits include increased flexibility, strength and clarity of mind.

WHAT TO BRING…

-Yoga mat

-A water bottle

-Comfortable workout attire

-A bathroom towel (full size) - this will be used as a support for some of the asanas
