Closing the Cycle

As Birak arrives, the final season of our Year of the Fire Horse, we gather to slow down, turn inward and honour everything this year has brought. The Horse has carried us through movement, courage, momentum and change. But before we race towards what comes next, there is value in stopping.

In releasing. In listening. In coming back to ourselves.

Join Pulse Yoga and Sound of Ether for a deeply immersive evening of Yin Yoga, breath and sacred sound, guided by Yasmin Reading and vocal alchemist Ally Solomou.

Through long-held Yin postures, breath-led stillness and Ally's ethereal live soundscapes, you'll be invited to soften, release and create space.

Yaz Reading is a Perth-based yoga facilitator, creative space-holder, and founder of Pulse Yoga Perth. Since 2019, she has been dedicated to building experiences where people feel seen, supported, and empowered through movement, breath, and connection.

At the heart of her work is community — creating spaces that go beyond the mat. Whether guiding a dynamic vinyasa practice, holding space in stillness, or curating immersive events, Yaz’s intention is consistent: to help people reconnect to their strength, soften into their edges, and return to centre.

Her sessions are designed to leave you feeling grounded, nourished, and deeply capable — reminding you that both your strength and your softness have a place.

As her work evolves, Yaz is expanding into collaborative, multi-sensory experiences that blend:

– guided movement and breath

– evolving soundscapes

– immersive, responsive visuals

Exploring the intersection of the nervous system, rhythm, and embodiment, she is currently developing “Yoga in the Gallery” — a live, immersive offering where movement exists within art and sound. These sessions invite participants into a fully sensory experience, where the body, breath, and environment interact in real time.

Through collaboration with artists, spaces, and creatives, Yaz is shaping a new kind of practice — one that speaks a shared language between what we feel, what we hear, and how we move..
