Yoga, Lunch and Rockclimbing, You Yangs Regional Park
Event description
Join us for a day of yoga and rock climbing at the stunning You Yangs Regional Park.
No previous experience in yoga or rock climbing is necessary. We will provide everything you need for an awesome day in the great outdoors, including lunch. On that, we are more than happy to cater for all dietary requirements (please just let us know what you need).
We will meet you at the Big Rock Car Park (turn right off Great Circle Drive and follow the signs). Together we will then head into the hills where the adventure begins.
We will start off with a yoga session to limber us up, before we practice some abseiling off Big Rock. After a bite to eat, we’ll hike for around 20 minutes to the base of the climb. The hike is undulating and suitable for most fitness levels. There is no hurry, we have plenty of time to enjoy the walk. Once we arrive, we’ll get harnessed up and start climbing!
Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in, layered active wear is perfect. Pack a warm jacket and rain wear, just in case! Sneakers or hiking boots are the best choice of footwear for walking between the sites. Climbing shoes will be provided once we are at the rock.
Apart from that, all you need to bring with you is a water bottle and we are good to go!
The day is for women who are beginner climbers. Even if you have never climbed before, this experience is for you! We will be with you every step of the way to make sure it is one to remember.
By the way, if the weather is horrendous, we will reschedule the day. If you can’t make the new date, we will give you a full refund.
