UPDATE: The 14 August event has been cancelled. Sales will resume for the October and December Nidra event shortly!

A nourishing evening of gentle yin yoga and guided yoga nidra, led by experienced, senior yoga teacher, Julia Starkey.

Through long-held, supported shapes and a deeply relaxing meditation you’ll be invited to unwind, regulate your nervous system and experience profound rest.

Perfect for busy people and busy minds. No experienced required. Julia creates a safe, comfortable and supportive space for you to rest and unwind.

What to Expect:

Grounding and gentle Yin Yoga — enjoy 20 minutes of gentle yin yoga (long hold, passive poses using blocks / pillows for support). A beautiful way to settle into your relaxation space and prepare for yoga nidra.
Relaxing Yoga Nidra — Yoga nidra (or “yogic sleep”) is a form of yoga where you lay down and are taken on a guided journey of mental imagery. It’s a powerful way to access a state of deep relaxation.
In our session, Julia will guide you through 40-minutes of profoundly restful yoga nidra, including relaxation, intention setting, body scanning, breath work and visualisation.
Calming space— switch off and relax deeply with soft music, candle light and lavender eye pillows.

Some things to be mindful of:

This session is beginner friendly. No experience required.
Please bring your mat, cushion/pillow, and a light blanket.
Wear something comfortable that you can stretch and rest in (socks for winter is a nice touch too!)
Bathrooms and change rooms facilities are available.
I have some extra mats and yoga blocks. If you have any extra yoga props, you’re welcome to bring them along too.
Doors open 10 minutes before class. Our session starts right on time.
New students, please arrive 5-10 minutes early to complete a registration form and settle into your relaxation space.
