Yoga Together ~ feel good

Join us for Yoga Together, a relaxed yoga program for parents or carers and their children at VPCC. This class is all about slowing down and sharing movement in a calm, welcoming space. Through simple stretches, breathing, games and mindful moments, you and your child can build body awareness, confidence and connection — together.

Expect a mix of gentle adult yoga, child-friendly poses, partner activities and time to settle and reset. Perfect for all abilities. Come as you are, move at your own pace, and enjoy the chance to breathe, stretch, move and bond.

Taught by Alejandra Cockran, who has vast experience in Yoga with child, Postpartum Yoga, Women's Circles and Maternity Yoga, Insta @holisticmaha, this slow, mindful and adaptable practice will focus on:

calming the nervous system
easy postures for all bodies
connecting to your breath & your child

All ages, levels and abilities are warmly welcomed – no previous experience required!

Victoria Park Community Centre

Bring: your own yoga mat (no mats supplied), water bottle, and anything else to make you feel comfortable (e.g. cushion, light blanket)

Pricing

5-week term pack = $75 per adult plus $10/child.

Casual drop-in = $20 per class.

Safety & Accessibility

All participants take part at their own risk and are encouraged to listen to their bodies and work within their comfort zone. Modifications will be offered throughout the class

Vic Park Community Centre has step free access across the whole site, including access to outdoor space, a disabled toilet with baby change, and gender neutral toilets. We try our best to make our events and programs as inclusive as possible,
