The QCF for Breasties Yoga, Wellbeing & Connection Program 🌿
Join us on one Sunday morning each month for a gentle morning of yoga, breathwork, meditation and connection, created especially for people who have been impacted by a cancer diagnosis.
These peer-led sessions are open to anyone who is newly diagnosed, currently undergoing treatment or living in survivorship. Each session is facilitated by a qualified yoga and wellbeing facilitator and provides a safe, supportive space to pause, breathe and reconnect with yourself.
Following the session, we’ll come together over morning tea, an opportunity to meet others who have a lived experience of cancer, have a chat and simply connect with people who understand.
Come as you are. There’s no expectation, no pressure and no need to have any previous yoga or meditation experience. Just a space to breathe, connect and feel supported.
Please note this is a peer-to-peer space rather than a clinical one, there are no psychologists, counsellors or medical advice on offer. It's about genuine connection and shared experience. If you're seeking formal or clinical support, this may not be the right fit, and that's completely okay.
FAQs
- Do I need to bring anything?
You do not need to bring any yoga equipment, that is all provided. You can bring a water bottle and it's a good idea to wear comfortable clothing.
- I cannot get down onto the floor, can I still do yoga in a chair?
Absolutely, please just let us know when you book your ticket!
- I haven't had a breast cancer diagnosis, can I still buy a ticket and join?
This program was designed to be a connection event for breast cancer patients, however if you have another type of cancer and want to join, please contact us directly to discuss this. It may be that these sessions are not suitable for everyone.
