Yoga with the Bettongs and Potoroos
Event description
Connect with nature and our local native animals through a 4-week yoga series at the EcoClassroom Sanctuary. The beautiful rammed-earth building looks out onto the surrounding nature sanctuary, home to endangered brush-tailed bettongs, long-nosed potoroos, Tammar wallabies, and many birds, frogs and lizards.
Leading up to the winter solstice, these sessions will be held around dusk, when the bettongs and potoroos can often be seen wandering past during the yoga session. You’ll be guided through a one hour hatha flow yoga class, suitable for all levels of yoga including beginners.
Dates: Wednesdays for 4 weeks from 24th May until 14th June. Yoga starts at 5.30pm.
Optional bonus: Arrive 5.15 pm for a short nature connection exercise / meditation in the nature sanctuary before the yoga starts in the heated EcoClassroom. We'd love you to join for the whole series, but casual bookings will also be available.
BYO yoga mat if possible (mats available on request).
