Yom Hashoah 2020
Event description
Please join us on April 20th, 2020 at 6:00 pm via Zoom for LaunchPad's first ever virtual Yom HaShoah gathering to recognise Holocaust Remembrance Day, in partnership with the Jewish Holocaust Centre.
At a time when we would traditionally come together as a community, the Coronavirus is keeping us apart. Therefore, we will convene virtually as a community to honour our local survivors and remember those lost in the Holocaust.
This is an interactive event where we will be exploring the preservation of memory and the ways in which we can be custodians of our family's stories.
This program will last no longer than 45 minutes and is family friendly.
Towards the end of the event, we will each light a candle together as a community, so please BYO candle! 🕯️
