Event description

This time of year invites us to reflect on who we are and the impact we make. Yom Kippur—the Day of Atonement and one of the holiest days in the Jewish calendar—calls us to deep reflection, accountability, and growth.

Jewish wisdom teaches that atonement includes acts of justice and compassion: feeding the hungry, caring for those in need, and helping repair a broken world.

This year, we invite adults (18 years and older) to join jHUB for a meaningful act of service. Together, we’ll volunteer at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank (Coit Road location), giving back to our community and living out the spirit of Yom Kippur.

Register by Tuesday, September 23, to secure your spot.

Timeline of the day:
12:45pm: Gather
1 – 3pm: Pack boxes of food
3 – 4pm: Learn about the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and time for reflection

If you have any questions, please email Rabbi Thalia at Thalpertrodis@jecc.org.
