Because You Yangs offers one of the best quick escapes from the city. This hike blends steady movement with big scenery, granite ridgelines, native bushland, and panoramic lookouts from Flinders Peak.

It’s not about racing to the top, but about taking time to notice the landscape, meet new people, and enjoy being outdoors together. Whether you’re new to hiking or just keen for a social morning on trail, this walk is about connection: to nature, to community, and to starting the day feeling energised and grounded.
