Board Game Night
Calling all young adults aged 18-30: Join us to connect with others in your community and make new friends! Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or just looking for a laid-back evening, this event is for you. Bring your favourite board games, or dive into our collection—we’ve got plenty to choose from! It’s the perfect way to unwind, meet new people, and celebrate the weekend.
Our board game nights will take place on the first Friday evening of the month. Every second event will also feature an added activity happening alongside games night (but don't worry- we will still have access to all your favourite board games if what we have planned doesn't interest you).

Come solo or bring your friends—everyone aged 18-30 is welcome! It is a very laid back environment and a safe space for all young adults.

What to Expect:
When you arrive at Yallo, you will be greeted by a Blue Leaf staff member. You will sign yourself in (Name, age, pronouns) and will be given a name tag/ introduced to the group. You do not need to show any tickets on arrival. There is usually an ice breaker round (optional participation but highly recommended), and people typically form 3 groups to play different games. We have snacks and stim toys available.
FAQs
- How many people attend? Typically our games nights have anywhere between 15-30 people. There is a mix of all genders.
- Can I come by myself? Absolutely! We encourage any and all people to attend - we will make sure you feel welcome!
- Can I bring a support worker? For sure. Your support worker does not have to register but they are more than welcome to join in all the activities we have on offer.
- What food is available? Usually we serve cheese toasties, fruit platter, popcorn, and charcuterie. Please include any dietary requirements on your registration if there is anything for us to be aware of.
- Will there be alcohol? All our events are alcohol-, smoke-, and vape-free. We ask that you do not attend this event under the influence of any substances, or you will be asked to leave.
- What games do you have? UNO, Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza, Exploding Kittens, Skip Bo, Monopoly Deal, Unstable Unicorns, Chameleon, Jenga, Werewolf, Code Names, Priorities, Guess Who, Chess, Poetry for Neanderthals, Trial by Trolley, Catan, Herd Mentality, Rummy, Dixit. We update our games regularly and welcome requests for us to purchase.
- Can I bring my own games? We encourage you to bring your own games if you would like to play them with the group.
- Is there parking? There is free parking at the venue.
- Is there public transport? Bus 843 takes 21 minutes from Bunbury. However, this event finishes late, so arranging carpool may be more suitable.
- Is the venue wheelchair accessible? Yes, it is wheelchair accessible.
- What gender are the facilities? There is one all gender bathroom at the venue.
