Young Adults Camp 2024

"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" - 1 John 3:1a

In Romans 8 Paul writes,

"For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory."

Our speaker this year is Sharon Cooper. Sharon serves as a staff worker at City Bible Forum, which equips men and women in their evangelism. She enjoys creating spaces where community is built through exploring the big questions of life and discovering Jesus in the Bible. Sharon is married to Greg and is based in Melbourne; the city of coffee, art, and infinite stories.

'Young adult' is a loose term and anyone from the St Hils 6pm community is welcome to come along. We are also extending an invitation to other young adult communities in churches around Melbourne.

Every effort has been made to keep costs per person as low as possible, if you require assistance or would like to set up a payment plan please get in touch with Kane as soon as possible! We'd love to see you there and would hate for finances to be an obstacle!
