Join us for a Q&A with Tom Hunt (Fr 2017)
Tom is a full-time geometallurgist and part-time endurance athlete, who recently completed a 1,130km solo journey across Antarctica. In preparation for this expedition, he competed in and won the 6633 Arctic Ultra in 2023 where he broke the course record by an astonishing 23 hours. Then in 2024, he completed a 3-week solo unsupported expedition in Sweden and Norway. This progressive training allowed Tom to complete the grueling journey in 34 days, despite extreme conditions and major health concerns. What sets Tom apart isn’t just the distance covered, but the discipline and resolve behind every step.
