    Event description

    YCM Father and son edition

Young Change Makers father and son camp is a two day immersion into permaculture, nature connection and brotherhood.

It is an invitation for boys and men to come together on the land to reconnect with nature, self and community.

It is an opportunity for us to learn about and implement the three core ethics of permaculture - care for the earth- care for the people- the fair share of goods and commodities.

The course is designed to be hands on, with the intention to develop practical skills that will encourage the younger generation to embrace the future as conscious, resilient young men.

It is also an opportunity for us to come together as brothers, listen to each other, support each other, and remember what it means to be a man!

    We will:

Learn how to care for the earth and ourselves. Permaculture is holistic approach to land management that encompasses all aspects of land management from soil care, ecological conservation, food production to sustainable development and housing. Permaculture at its core is about observing the patterns and processes in nature and working with nature to create a sustainable future.

This camp is ideal for fathers and sons to attend together, however, it is open to any young fella who wants to bring along any significant man in his life.
