Do You Have A Business Idea That You Want To Bring To Life?

BOP Industries and Bendigo Bank Beenleigh invites students in Years 7-12 to the Young Entrepreneurs Hub, Preparing To Launch program, hosted at the BOP Industries offices in the Brisbane CBD. Over the course of one action-packed day, students with a keen interest in taking their business to the next level will have the opportunity to experience life as a small business owner, as they are taken through a series of business masterclasses dedicated to preparing students with the fundamental skills and knowledge to launch their business in the real world.

Participating students are expected to attend the program with a business idea that is in pre-launch or initial launch phases. This is a program designed to highlight the importance of business operations, marketing strategies, financial literacy and more. The program will include a catered morning tea, as well as access to our in-house barista and basic kitchen utilities (microwave/fridge).

The workshop will also include interactive sessions, case studies, and practical exercises to help students apply their newfound knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Who Is This Program For?
This program is open to students in Grades 7-12 from across South-East Queensland. 

Do I Need A Business Idea Already?
We do ask that students have a business idea before entering the program.

What Do Students Need To Bring?
Students will need to bring a device (preferably a laptop) to work on over the course of the program. In addition to this, we ask that they bring lunch. Morning Tea will be provided

When Will The Program Run?
The program will run from 9am - 3pm on Monday the 1st of July 2024. Students are welcome to arrive from 8:30am.

How Do Students Get To The Venue?
The program will take place at 310 Edward Street. There are plenty of public transport options nearby with Central Station across the road, and the Queen Street and King George Square Bus Stations a 5 minute walk away. There is also a pick up and drop off zone by the 'Adina Hotel' across the road.
