    The Young Eyes Festival of Innovation, hosted by Zig Zag Hub, and proudly sponsored by Sircona Battery Technogies is back bigger and better than ever in 2024! 

    Our festival will spotlight rising stars from Illawarra and Shoalhaven high schools participating in our Entrepreneurial program. This event will allow the selected finalist students to present, pitch and showcase their idea and concept, extending into how they plan to take this idea as a business to the next level!

    Award categories for 2024 are: 

    - Young Entrepreneur of the Year 

    A product or service 

    - Young Innovator of the Year 

    A innovative concept or idea

    9:15am 

    Doors open and guests to begin to arrive

    10am 

    Official welcome with MC Toby Dawson
    and Tania Brown to deliver the
    Sponsor Address. 

    From here the day runs as follows:

    All finalists to pitch their business idea in 90 seconds to judges and the audience, with a mix of speakers who will add to the inspiration of the event. 

    45mins for lunch break / judges deliberation time

    Top 5 business pitches - Question and Answers

    Top 10 finalists are questioned by the judges for 5mins each about their idea/pitch.

    Top 5 business pitches are announced by the judges

    Top 3 finalists are invited to the stage for photo.

    The winner is announced, as Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2023

    Photo opportunity with our major sponsor and the Zig Zag Hub Team.

    3:15pm Completion of Young Eyes Festival of Innovation 2023
