YOUNG MASTERS PAINTING WORKSHOP
Session 1: Garden Still Life Painting

Young artists will build on their understanding of colour mixing and its application and learn techniques to recreate the natural colours and textures found in the world around them. In addition to a range of new skills, participants will leave the workshop with paints, brushes and quality paper to continue their creative exploration and start their next masterpiece.

This session will focus on colour matching techniques, including colour mixing, colour theory, painting and colour matching on the surface of fruits and vegetables, and guided still life painting exercises. This session is best suited for students interested in painting nature and landscapes.
