Young Ocean Innovators Showcase

 🎉 You are invited to the Young Ocean Innovators 2024 Showcase! We will be celebrating the development, experiences and ideas of our Young Ocean Innovators, as they graduate from this immersive 6 week program. 

🌊 Our mission is to create a generation of passionate young ocean leaders. Through this pilot program, we aimed to foster a cohort of young ocean leaders who will help us all work towards a clean and healthy ocean. Focused on developing ocean literacy and innovative thinking, the Young Ocean Innovators Program aimed to leave students equipped with the skills to innovate, advocate for, and conserve our oceans.  A cohort of 16 students were specifically selected from 5 schools to be involved in this program. Over the course of 6 workshops and a field trip, students engaged in a variety of immersive experiences including; learning from scientific experts, business innovators and university student mentors from across 10 organisations to develop a deep understanding of the breadth, potential and need for ocean innovation and conversation.

• Get ready to hear some amazing pitches from our Young Ocean Innovators
• Learn about the successes, discoveries and learnings generated through the program 
• Connect with environmental organisations, the next generation of young environmental leaders, and other like minded people.

At the event, you will have the opportunity to hear from our amazing students, learning about everything they have undertaken to become immersed in our ocean, in particular learning about Port Phillip Bay and the possibilities of taking environmental action as a young person.
